Club Penguin Going Educational

According to an Article published in a UK Newspaper, Club Penguin is planning to go educational in about 2 months. Here is what Billybob has to say about Club Penguin going Educational:

It’s going to take learning within a virtual space to a whole new level.

According to the article, they want to mimic Sesame Street, and incorporateeducational elements in to their online games. Also, the article states in two months they will be rewarded for completing games designed to test their verbal and mathematical skills.

I think that this may be related to the new stamps coming to Club Penguin on July 26th, because Billybob told us we will have to work together to collect them. Also, it seems like Club Penguin will be making more games in which we have to use verbal and math skills.

This would be a great way for Club Penguin to attract younger kids, but I think that the Club Penguin’s older players won’t like it as much! Do you want Club Penguin to go educational, or stay the way it is right now? Comment and share your thoughts!
