There are a lot of rumours around Club Penguin blogs and users them self about Club Penguin turning educational. This is false, not true. There was an announcement and a interview with Lane Marrefield on the UK Newspaper and majority of the penguins understood it as Club Penguin turning educational. Here is a reply from the Club Penguin support team about this matter:
There have been many rumors going around lately about Club Penguin turning educational. I would like to assure you that until there is any official announcement from us on the Whats New Blog these are just rumors. Please know that Club Penguin is meant to be a fun and safe place for our users, and we will never change that!
A great way to keep up on everything new and exciting in Club Penguin is by checking the “What’s New” blog from time to time:http://community.clubpenguin.com/blog/
Aunt Arctic also releases a new edition of the “Club Penguin Times Newspaper” every Wednesday for all penguins to enjoy. These are two great resources for penguins to stay in touch with what is happening in the community.
In conclusion, Club Penguin is staying as an snow-covered island unless they announce otherwise.
